Resources are provided below so that campers may continue to be evangelized and discipled while they are home and waiting for the next camp season.
Child Evangelism Fellowship
Child Evangelism Fellowship is the parent organization of Camp Good News® New Hampshire. They specialize in reaching children with the Gospel and discipling them across America and overseas. They work in schools, churches and homes holding Good News Clubs during the school year and 5-Day Clubs during the summer.
CEF Place for Kids!
The Child Evangelism Fellowship website now has a place that is just for kids!
There are Wonder Devotional videos to watch, sing-a-long videos from the current Good News Club series, an exciting missions story and other resources how a child might grow in God’s Word.
They also highly encourage parents to participate with their children as they discover new truths in the Bible.
Shepherding a Child’s Heart
Shepherding a child’s heart is a reference that Camp Good News New Hampshire uses in training the counseling staff. We spend a great deal of time during the training weeks being certain that the counselors know how to shepherd the heart of a child. Tedd Tripp teaches in this book that it is the heart that needs to be reached in order for the behavior to change since behavior is merely an extension of what is in the heart. As a result of shepherding, we hope to see heart change evidenced in behavior as well as the child seeing their need for a Savior.
Joni and Friends
Joni and Friends is a ministry that works with people of all ages who suffer from various disabilities. They are an international ministry located in many different areas and seek to accelerate Christian ministry in the disability community. The mission that they seek to accomplish is to communicate the Gospel and equip Christ-honoring churches worldwide to evangelize and disciple people affected by disabilities. The four things they do include: evangelize people affected by disabilities and their families; train, disciple, and mentor people affected by disabilities; multiply disability effective churches; promote a biblical worldview on disability through education and policy.
