Hundreds of Hours of Work to Prepare Camp Good News
It takes hundreds of hours and many, many volunteers to get Camp Good News ready for the campers to arrive.
- Trail Work
- Lots More!
Off-Season volunteer can serve for a day, two days, a weekend or a week or more. They can come as individuals or be groups.
This is a great opportunity for a church’s men’s group to come for a free work retreat and combine work time with spiritual growth and fellowship. Camp will feed and house the group during its stay.
Our typical Work Weekends go throughout May, but if you can come during the week, we would surely welcome you.
We do need information from each person or group that is coming. We ask that you fill out the Off-Season contact form online and submit it to camp either for yourself or have the leader of the group complete this form.
Each volunteer, teen or adult, must fill out a liability release form and bring it to camp. Those under 18 years-old must have their parents complete the form and sign it before they arrive at camp. Without this form, the teen may not serve at camp. Adults can download the form, fill it out and bring it with them. The forms are PDF documents. Click on the links below.
